1. Check-In & Check-Out Timings

Due to alpine flight schedules, most commercial aircraft arrive at Leh Airport (IXL) between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM. Early check-in is accommodated subject to room readiness upon arrival. Guests seeking guaranteed early morning check-in before 9:00 AM are encouraged to reserve the preceding night.
2. Mandatory Identification Requirements
In compliance with local government directives in the Union Territory of Ladakh:
- Indian Citizens: Must carry and present an original valid government-issued photo identity card (Aadhar Card, Passport, Voter ID, or Driving License) for each adult guest. PAN cards are not accepted as valid identity proof.
- International Guests: Must present an original Passport with a valid Indian tourist/business visa or e-Visa printout. The mandatory registration (Form-C) will be completed electronically by the front desk during check-in.
3. High-Altitude Acclimatization & Medical Well-being
Leh is situated at an elevation of 11,500 feet (3,500 meters) above sea level. Guests arriving by air are strongly urged by medical guidelines to undertake complete bed rest for the first 24 to 36 hours.
The Zen Ladakh provides 24-hour centralized radiator heating and medical oxygen support on demand. Guests experiencing persistent altitude discomfort should immediately notify hotel reception for on-call physician assistance.
4. Hotel House Rules & Facilities Conduct
- Central Heating Equipment: Radiator valves throughout guest rooms and corridors are thermostatically regulated for maximum safety and comfort. Guests are requested not to drape wet garments directly over hot radiators.
- Environmental Responsibility: Ladakh is an ecologically sensitive, high-altitude desert. We request guests to use water mindfully and avoid single-use plastic littering throughout the hotel and mountain excursion routes.
5. Tariffs, Taxes & Payment Settlements
All room rates are subject to applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) as decreed by the Government of India. Incidentals, dining, bar beverages, and laundry charges must be settled prior to or upon final checkout. Major credit cards, UPI, net banking, and cash are accepted.
6. Force Majeure & Mountain Road Conditions
The hotel shall not be held liable for delays, missed sightseeing, or inability to reach Leh resulting from natural landslides, severe snowstorms, high mountain pass closures (Khardung La / Chang La), strikes, or state directives beyond our reasonable control.
